Dear Commissioners: I have recently read the 301 KAR 1:152 Asian Carp Harvest Program.

I have come to the conclusion that Kentucky and Barkley Lakes have a real problem with these carp. It seems, that instead of trying to make some law to allow only certain people to be able to eradicate these fish, it should be a priority to have a Program to Eradicate at any means possible.

Commercial fishermen are not going to be able to sell these fish due to low market prices.

Therefore, there will be no desire to even try to fish for them.

I think the game fish in our lakes are going to really suffer if you pass this law. You need to open up fishing on these carp without any regulations to eradicate them before it is too late.

Sincerely, Ed Jones 409 West 13th St. Benton, KY 42025 edj@mtginsurance.com
